Rape me by Richard There

Well, not available anymore!
This track was raped by the copyright laws.
It seems that they have the right to fuck you up if you use fragments of music made by others in your track.

Alien Sex Fiend - Ignore The Machine

This is a KNOWN Cover. I went to the Alien Sex Fiend concert this week and after the show I was in a level of happiness that I couldn´t sleep! So I record this (just the guitar and the voice). Everyday in this week I putted something more in the track. I could work forever on it but I think it´s time to say goodbye to my friend Nik!

Ink Splatter

Another Unknowncover, I still don´t know who made the original.
It would be nice if you listen to the song with headphones and the eyes closed. It´s made for it.

Two new Unknown Covers

Two new songs made for the Unknown Covers in the WTFMusic.
The idea is to make covers of songs you don´t know. Just reading the lyrics and maybe the tabs.
The first one is Word Song from Syd Barret´s obscure and unknown album Opel.
You can hear it here.
The second one is the hippie Happiness runs from Donovan. Namaste!
It´s here.

Spielplatz der Bösewichte - Samples of human feelings

More music!
Spielplatz der Bösewichte is Joewl Levis and me, and Samples of Human Feelings is our first album.
You can download it here:
or also inösewichte

It all started at the local supermarket, much like you would have near you. But it is here that Joewl Levis and Richard There would first meet. It was early in the morning so Richard was still in his pyjamas, Joewl was in his ever fashionable King Gee Green full sleeve overalls. Richard was sent to the supermarket by his lady friend to buy her some sanitary napkins. But being “there”now he could not help but browse the isles. Joewl was there to stock up on cotton balls, lighter fluid and cream cheese. It was just a matter of time that these 2 would meet. They first caught a glimpse of each over in the fruit and vegetable section of the supermarket, but it was not until they traveled the first isle in opposite directions that they would really notice each other when they passed each other in the center.A tiny smile was exchanged which grew larger with each isle. It was not until they reached the toys in the 6th isle that they stopped in front of each other and started smiling with there eyes. They both turned and looked at the selection of toys directly beside them and simultaneously yelled, “Fucking Rag Dolls!” They exchanged phone numbers and started to call each other to sing on the phone. With in time they decided that they should record these songs for the general public, as they were so damn good for their public to miss out on. And here has become what is to be known as Spielplatz der Bösewichte. Its what this world has been waiting for. Its what this world needs.

Richard There - "Who Touched My Bones?" EP

"There is a bird in the sky,
and he's always singing that I will die."

This opening line sets the tone for the whole EP.
A dark, humorous, abstract, twisted cartoon-like world of despair in an ongoing battle of hope.

The music is a creative take on a singer-songwriter approach similar to Jandek, though Richard There says he has not heard his music before.
Songs are presented in bare stripped-down arrangements usually with the thick-accented vocals heavily in the foreground.

This music comes from a place I have yet to visit.
A place called There. Where birds eat colors.
A place of contorted beings and Shit Men.

Images and more insights on the land of There can be found . . . here:

This might be my own way of perceiving the music but when I listen I can't help but connect it to the fantasy land of There.
The music becomes a soundtrack to my imagination of what happens in this far off land.
They both compliment each other.
It is fantasy music for an imaginative world.
My inner child is provoked as I enter this music.
Questions come to mind as I walk around the land of There.
Answers may be found in the music or they may be left lingering.
I want to know more about this land.
To go deeper.
Richard There's music can help guide me.
Though I can only go so far with this short EP.
I need more, Mr. There.

Book your next trip to There with this wonderful yet somewhat dark recording.
